HOW IS THE TREATMENT DONE?
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
The treatment starts with a preliminary examination where we take X-rays (OPTG) and any impressions we need. Based on the images and the imprints, a team of dental specialists creates a virtual treatment plan and a cost estimate.
IMPLANT PLACEMENT
After establishing that the mouth is healthy, we begin the treatment. The new tooth is fitted on a titan implant, also known as an artificial root, which is perfectly safe for humans. Our surgeon embeds the fixture painlessly under local or general anaesthesia. The tooth is fitted in place during the same visit or within a couple of days. The implant fuses with the jawbone over the next two to six months.We monitor the process with ISQ measurements and attach the final crown in place once the bone has healed.
INSERTING THE NEW TOOTH
Our specialist dentist inserts the permanent tooth in place. The process is now complete. The new tooth looks and feels like your natural teeth and can be used exactly the same way.
